Product Review: A Box of Awesome Things Matching Game by Wee Society

This review is meant for parents, teachers, and other people that work with children to read. This review is also meant for other adults that don't work with children to read since it is also made for adults.
A Box of Awesome Things Matching Game is fun game advertised for ages 3-103. It will help both children and adults with memory skills to locate pictures about topics for people of all ages, such as LIGHTENING, CAMOUFLAGE, EYE PATCHES, PLUTO, etc. All you do is lay all the cards facedown. Each player flips over two cards at a time and tries to find pairs. As you flip over cards that are not pairs, you can then start remembering where the matches to the same cards that were flipped over were to generate matches. What's great is that this game can be played together with others or individually. When it is played with more than one person the person with the most pairs when all the pairs are picked up wins.

This is a fun game that is like another game I played as a child. I like that it is designed for different ages. When cards are flipped over (like the CAMOUFLAGE or PLUTO cards) adults can explain what the pictures are to people of younger ages if they haven't learned what they mean yet. I like that there is a blank card pair with this game so a unique topic for a card can be created. I also like the handy, compact box that this game comes in which doesn't take up a lot of room on a shelf or cabinet.

I feel like this would be a great game to have at home, in classrooms, and assisted living / retirement centers when people just want to play something fun or want to try to sharpen their memory skills.

My review = 5 out of 5 stars

I received this game from Blogging for Books for this review.
