The chapters in this book are from titles of Loretta Lynn songs and they contain quotes from Audrey Hepburn.
In my opinion, humor was added at just the right times in this story. In some cases that humor made those situations less traumatic to me. This story also showed me how easy it is for relationships to come apart with just a small amount of hurtful words or actions and how God can come in the middle of it all if we ask him to and fix things better than they were before if we allow him to. I loved the Texas backdrop that is a part of this story and how the brides in this story strived to go after their hearts for the weddings that they dreamed of.
Even though this is book 3 in the series I believe it can also be read as a stand-alone novel, without having read the other 2 books in the series. In my opinion, it does a great job of recapping what happened in the previous books in the series.
