Book Review: Can a Princess Be a Firefighter? by Carole P. Roman, Illustrated by Mateya Arkova

*****This review is meant for parents, teachers, and other people that work with children to read.*****

A mother is asked the question from her young one "Can a Princess be a firefighter?". She tells her and her sister or friend about some wonderful professions that they could eventually be and explains about those professions. The illustrations move along with the story to help children visualize what uniforms are worn and what people do in those professions. She explains that there are things that need to be learned to work in those professions and to not limit their dreams.

In my opinion, this book does a great job of explaining different kinds of professions that people pursue later in life in a way that will be helpful to children.  I liked the bubbles above the heads of the two children in the book, showing what their minds were imagining. I love the ending of the book, which explains that some things children can be may never go away.

My review= 5 out of 5 stars

I received this book free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
