Book Review: Just As Special by 3Evoke, LLC, Illustrated by Colette Robbins

*****This review is meant for parents, teachers, and other people that work with children to read.*****

Mason is feeling sad because his father isn't around. His mom explains to him that some fathers can't be around for different reasons. She then helps Mason remember some wonderful men who have been a part of his life, to watch over him, play games with him, and help him. As Mason remembers the good times he has had with the men that have been in his life, the pain of his father not being around starts to dissipate.

I think it's great that Mason's mom was able to help Mason remember that there are / have been men in his life that have helped him out and watched over him since his father isn't there. I liked seeing how Mason's attitude starting improving more and more as his mom continued to remind him of the men that have been sent into his life. In my opinion, this story does a great job of explaining and illustrating that even though Mason's father isn't in his life, that doesn't stop him from being a valuable and special person!

My review= 5 out of 5 stars
