Book Blog Tour: Every Bride Needs A Groom by Janice Thompson

Katie has had the same boyfriend since she was younger. She can imagine herself getting married to him one day and thinks he will pop the question any day now. When she is encouraged to enter a contest to win a free bridal gown, she doesn't think she has to be engaged....what harm will be done if she wins anyway? When her boyfriend decides to leave town, she cannot imagine being anywhere but their small town in Texas and now she thinks that he is gone for good. A famous basketball player is helping at a shop that Katie needs to visit. Can he be trusted with the truth when he is helping her, or would it protect the feelings of people better if she just keeps her secret?

This is a novel I could tell kind of what the ending was going to be like in some ways and there were surprises in other ways. It shows that relationally bad situations can happen to people but that darkness is often only temporary. When we find the right path we will find the light in some cases. It teaches that sometimes God will call us to the most unlikely places and professions for a season because he has something special that he wants to do with us or for us while we are there. It also shows that something terrible that happened years ago with family and/or friends can be restored quicker then some people can imagine. The ending of the book left me wondering how things are going to turn out in the next books in this series.

I love reading novels by Janice Thompson! They are usually very humorous and are combined with morals and truth, which is what reading this novel was like for me! I am looking forward to reading more books in this series!

My Review = 5 out of 5 Stars

I received this book free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
