Book Review: Night Buddies Go Sky High by Sands Hetherington

*****This review is meant for parents, teachers, and other people that work with children to read.*****

Night Buddies Go Sky High will take young readers on a fun adventure into the sky in a racing blimp! Just how high will the blimp go? Will the travelers be safe?  How long will they need to leave their loved ones behind? Why is a school bus involved in the adventure? There is a lot to ponder. There’s a chalkboard used in different places in the book to relay messages to the crew. There are also some drawings used throughout the book to give readers an idea of what the characters and the places that they are at look like.

This science fiction book will probably help young readers' minds drift away for awhile into a fantasy of what can happen in a blimp in the sky. I liked the parts where the bus and the cheesecake were involved in the story. I think that the list of uncommon words given at the front of the book will be helpful for the readers. I think some of them will make children laugh. There are also other bold faced words throughout the story. At one point there was even a song sung that I think young readers might have fun singing!

I think that young readers that like Science Fiction will enjoy this story a lot!

My review = 5 out of 5 stars

Disclosure of material connection: I received a free paperback galley of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
