Book Review: Sadie, Ori, and Nuggles Go to Camp by Jamie Korngold, Illustrated by Julie Fortenberry

*****This review is meant for parents, teachers, and other people that work with children to read.*****

Sadie has been to camp before but this is the first year her brother has gone because he recently turned seven. Ori wants to bring Nuggles, his stuffed animal although he is afraid he will get laughed at. He tried to be able to do without him before he went to camp but wasn’t able to. So, he decides to bring him and he won’t know if he made a right or wrong decision until he gets to camp.

I love reading about Sadie’s adventures, especially this one in which she happily includes her brother and his stuffed animal into her camp world! Sadie described what life had been like for her at camp before, and her descriptions will probably make kids long to be at camp to be around and make friends with other kids they have something in common with. This story might also have kids wondering what Ori, Nuggles, and Sadie did with the rest of their time at camp when it ends.

Recommended for Ages 2-6, grades Pre-K-1

My review = 5 out of 5 stars
