Book Review: I Want To Do Yoga Too by Carole P. Roman

*****This review is meant for parents, teachers, and other people that work with children to read.*****

Mommy needs to go to yoga class and Hallie wants to come also. Hallie leaves mom with Robin, who will watch her and some other children during the yoga class. Robin goes over some fun moves with Hallie, but after each one Hallie continues to express that she wants to do yoga. When Hallie’s mom comes to pick her up, she learns from Robin that she was doing yoga, she just didn't know it at the time.

I loved that Hallie’s mom left her with Robin, even though Hallie was adamant about wanting to do yoga too (I think implying that she wanted to do it with her mommy). Robin was sure to have something fun for Hallie to do. When they started doing the moves, Hallie was sure that she still wanted to do yoga. When she found out later she had done some yoga her attitude totally changed. That seemed like a huge lesson for Hallie! I believe this book will also teach children to give something different a try, even when they feel like something will be better.

My review = 5 out of 5 stars
